Chat requests include your question, chosen language and a random conversation identifier. The application stores conversation memory in its server-side database to provide continuity. On the Vercel-hosted website, Turso provides this database storage. Clearing the visible chat starts a new identifier; it does not delete previous server records.

The browser stores your selected language and conversation identifier locally. Saved crop/soil cases, photos and farmer language feedback remain in this browser; clearing site data can remove them. A follow-up comparison sends the saved and current photo to Google Gemini to generate guidance. Text may be processed by the configured Google Gemini or Groq AI services. Read-aloud requests send text to the configured Microsoft Azure or Google Gemini speech service.

Voice input requests microphone permission in your browser. Recording starts only after you press the voice button and grant access. Up to 45 seconds of audio is sent to the configured Google Gemini or Groq transcription service. This app processes audio in memory and does not save recordings to disk; providers apply their own data policies. The transcript is shown for review before you send it. Weather requests send the coordinates of the city or village you choose to Open-Meteo; the app does not request your GPS location.

Uploaded crop/soil images are processed in memory and sent, after removing image metadata and resizing, to the configured Google Gemini service for visual assessment. This app does not save uploaded diagnosis images to disk. The location catalogue uses GeoNames data under CC BY 4.0. Avoid entering private identifying details.
